Secondary/Middle Education Program
Develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions to work effectively
with early adolescents to adolescents (ages 13-21) and their
families.
In addition to major and minor requirements, students seeking
teaching certification in the Secondary/Middle Education Program
(Early Adolescence - Adolescence) must meet the criteria of the
Teacher Education Program.
Certification is available at Silver Lake College in the following
content areas for Adolescence (Grades 9-12) and/or Early
Adolescence
(Grades 6-9):
