Goal I: Skills (7-12 credits)
To assist students in developing foundational knowledge and skills for personal professional growth in communication, critical thinking, group dynamics, technology and mathematics.
I.1 Communication
- Employs public presentation skills and interviewing techniques.
- Examines presentation styles and receiver interaction.
- Practices the stages of the writing process.
- Utilizes the rules of accepted grammar in writing styles.
- Acquires skills to write a research paper.

The student reads mathematics with understanding and communicates mathematical ideas clearly, including demonstrated competence in calculation, problems solving, inductive and deductive reasoning and use of technological tools.
