Graduate Admissions
Application Process and Requirements for all programs:
- Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale or must be current Silver Lake students who have reached senior status.
- Complete a Graduate Application.
- Send official transcripts to the Admissions Office from all accredited colleges you have taken courses through.
- Request a transcript evaluation to apply your credits previously earned

Master of Arts in Education - Administrative and Teacher Leadership
- Mail a photocopy of any current licenses you may hold.
- Complete the Program Application Form.
- Request official letters of recommendation from three professional educators familiar with your work to be sent directly to the Admissions Office.
- Schedule a pre-acceptance interview during which the graduate committee will grant you formal acceptance into the Master of Arts in Education program prior to reviewing your file.

Master of Arts in Education - Special Education Requirements
- Complete the Graduate Special Education Program Application.
- Obtain letters of recommendation from three professional educators familiar with the candidate's work.
- Complete a written essay which addresses a current topic in special education. Rubrics will be provided.
- Provide a photocopy of a current teaching license if applicable.
Master of Music in Music Education (Kod-ly Emphasis) Requirements
- Complete the Graduate Music Application.
- Provide a record of satisfactory performance on examinations in music theory (including solfege), music history and literature, applied music and conducting.
- Submit a video of teaching (if engaged in teaching at time of application).
- Obtain letters of recommendation from three professional educators familiar with the candidate's work.
- Schedule a pre-acceptance interview with the Graduate Music Program Faculty.
Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior Requirements
- Provide a professional resume.
- Submit a Statement of Purpose.
- Three professional or academic recommendations from persons qualified to evaluate your promise of academic achievement and potential for professional growth.
Applicants are considered individually by the evaluation of their scholastic achievements, motivation, leadership qualities and potential for success in college. The college operates a rolling admissions program. After all credentials are submitted, the applicant is notified of the admissions committee's decision.
