Student Symposium

Silver Lake College will host its annual student symposium, “A Celebration of Ideas,” on April 17 on the Manitowoc campus. The day-long event will feature student presentations, displays, music, and art followed by a keynote address. Events are free and open to the public.

BodyWorlds Tour

Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Milwaukee Public Museum
Join fellow alumni, students, family, and friends on a one-day bus trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum. Experience the popular touring exhibition of Gunther von Hagens’ “BODY WORLDS 1: The Original Exhibition of Real Human Bodies.” Using the ground-breaking preservation process of Plastination, BODY WORLDS showcases more than 200 real human specimens and more than 20 whole-body plastinates that focus on the locomotive, nervous, respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular, and reproductive systems. The bus will leave Silver Lake College parking lot at 8:00 AM and return at approximately 4:30 PM. Cost: $25 per person; includes bus & entrance to the museum & Body Worlds exhibit; meals are on your own. 2008 Chicago Bus Trip

Enjoy a one-day excursion as we travel to Chicago's Magnificent Mile. Marvel as the "Windy City" welcomes you for the holidays decked out in the lights, sights, and sounds of its seasonal splendor! The bus will leave the Silver Lake College parking lot promptly at 7:00 AM and return at approximately 9:30 PM. We will stop at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant/Gift Shop near Kenosha for a hearty breakfast (Dutch treat) en route to Chicago's famous Water Tower Place.
