Lending Policies

Students may check out books and periodicals for a period of four weeks. They may renew the loan as often as necessary unless someone else has requested the item. Borrower's Cards are always filled out even when an item is withdrawn for a single class period.

Teachers may check out items for an entire semester. Prior to the end of each semester and summer session, each instructor who has materials checked out is given a list of those materials and the return date deadline.

Homeschooler Policy

Fees and Guidelines:
There is a fee of $25.00 per semester, $50.00 yearly for the use of the Curriculum Resource Center payable to Silver Lake College and given to the Curriculum Resource Center Manager at the time of check out or within two weeks of that date.

Homeschoolers will fill out a registration/teacher card when signing out the first set of books and will be asked to return books at the end of May for Curriculum Resource Center inventory purposes.

Although homeschoolers may check out the books for a semester or a year, if students and instructors need these books, homeschoolers will be requested to return them.
