Criteria for Admission to Teacher Education Program
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Passing scores in math, reading and writing components of the PPST
- Completion of Background Verification Check
- Personal Interview with the Director of Teacher Education and Program
Director
- Recommendation of the Teacher Education Committee
Criteria for Enrollment in Upper Level Teacher Education Core Courses
- Undergraduate degree-seeking candidates must
have passed all components of the PPST and have earned a GPA of
at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible for enrollment in
Teacher Education core courses beyond the 200 level.
