Scholarships for Teacher Licensure Programs
Endowed and Annual Gift Scholarships
Through the generosity and support of Silver Lake alumni, donors, and friends of the college, Silver Lake College awards scholarship assistance to current students from more than 150 funds annually. The majority of endowed and annual gift scholarships are designated in the fall. However, students are notified of specific scholarship opportunities throughout the year.
Parochial School Teacher Grant
Graduate students currently teaching at a parochial elementary or secondary school may be eligible for a Silver Lake College Parochial School Teacher Grant, worth $250 each term in which they are enrolled at least half-time. Students must be admitted to their program, they must already have completed a bachelor's degree, and they must provide documentation regarding their employment status to the Office of Financial Aid.
Private Scholarships
The Office of Financial Aid posts private scholarship information outside the office as it's received and students are welcome to review the notifications there. In addition, an online Scholarship Update (PDF) is revised often with current scholarship information.
