Traditional Undergraduate Financial AID
Students enrolled in the traditional undergraduate program at Silver Lake
College may be eligible for financial aid in the form of
scholarships, grants,
low-interest student and parent loans, and
student employment through the
Federal Work Study Program. You must be enrolled full-time for the greatest aid
eligibility, but some resources are also available to
part-time students.
To receive a financial aid award, you must be accepted to the college and submit
the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
to Silver Lake College (school code: 003850).
Financial aid awarding begins in March of each year for the upcoming academic
year, and continuing students must file a new
FAFSA
for each year. Many aid sources are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis,
and our priority filing date is March 15. Therefore, we recommend that all
students file their
FAFSA
early (anytime after January 1) for fullest aid consideration. Students should
complete their
FAFSA
online at
www.fafsa.ed.gov for the most timely and accurate processing.
