Structure of the SLC Advanced Graduate Education Programs
All candidates in the Silver Lake College advanced Graduate Education Program of Administrative Leadership work on specific college-directed competencies that are linked to the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction standards for licensure. Candidates in the programs of Teacher Leadership and Administrative Leadership select additional competency areas according to their needs for enhancement of current and future leadership strategies. Specific competencies are woven within all Graduate Education Program course work, training sessions, and seminars. |

Outcomes of SLC Advanced Graduate Education Programs
The teacher and administrator candidates in the Graduate Education Program strive to become servant leaders or to enhance their servant leadership abilities, for true leaders lead by serving (Frick, D.M. & Spears, L.C., 1996). Foremost in the development of informed and effective servant leaders is the emphasis the programs place on evaluation and reflection (Graduate Student Handbook, 2002). The Advanced Programs of Teacher Leadership and Administrative Leadership also have program specific outcomes. |
