The
Teacher
Leadership
program
is
focused
on
the
concept
of
Servant
Leadership
found
in
the
writings
of
Robert
Greenleaf.
Six characteristic of servant leader
have been identified. The teacher who is a servant leader is a
Knowledge Seeker,
Change Agent,
Critical Thinker,
Resourceful
Professional,
Creative Visionary and
Effective
Communicator.
To develop these characteristic students pursue the enhancement of
fifteen competencies, ten of which are stipulated in the program and
five of which may be selected by the student in areas of personal
interest or weakness.
