Audio Visual Equipment

All general equipment is reserved/requested through the Media Production Center. Audio visual equipment is available to SLC faculty and staff on a first come first serve basis. Students who wish to utilize AV resources for presentations should make arrangements through their instructor or the Media Center personnel. Reservations should be made at least two days in advance. Equipment must be picked up and returned by the instructor to the locations where the equipment is housed. Reserve audio visual equipment by filling out the salmon-colored equipment request form found in the boxes near the staff mailboxes or in the Media Center itself. Instructors of evening classes may arrange for AV equipment through their department chairs or by contacting the Media Center personnel directly. Arrangements for equipment pick-up and return must be made before 4:30 P.M. of the class day. If you have any questions about the location of equipment, please contact the Media Center Personnel. Equipment includes the following: VCR/DVD, camcorder, digital camera, LCD panel, multimedia projector, CD player, overhead projector, film projector, slide projector, cassette tape player, record player, opaque projector, tripod screen.  Companies: Caribiner International (formerly Blumberg), Office Depot (formerly Midwest Business Products)

Lamination

Lamination of items is provided on a daily basis when sufficient items warrant the heating of laminators. Items larger than 17.5 inches are laminated only on Friday afternoons. Companies: General Binding Corporation,

Ellison Cutters

There are three Ellison Cutters and numerous letter and pattern dies. Students may use these after a simple demonstration provided by the Center staff. Company: Ellison - The Original Letter and Shape Cutting System
