 Computer Education Minor Program  

Overview The Computer Education Minor provides an opportunity for students in the Teacher Education Program to acquire expertise in using computers effectively in the classroom. The  the student will:

  • Utilize computer software to access, generate, and manipulate data and publish results in a meaningful context.
  • Perform basic operating system tasks, software functions, and minor troubleshooting of computer systems.
  • Use quality instructional software and other technology-based learning resources.
  • Appreciate the historical perspective of technology and its impact on a global society influenced by servant leadership.
  • Exhibit ethical decision making in the field of computer and electronic communications.
