In a liberal arts setting, the Natural Science Department offers
you an in-depth experience of the natural world - your laboratory.
Be a part of the action! Research its secrets and allow this
enriching experience to change your life and shape your career. The Natural Science Department offers a Bachelor of Science
degree in three
science programs at Silver Lake College: a Major or Minor in
Biology, and a Minor in
Integrated Natural Science. Check
these out as you consider your career in science! The
Biology Major featuring an emphasis in
Environmental Studies is a popular program. Our college is
proud to be a leader in the field. Silver Lake College's rural setting close to natural lakes, bogs,
marsh, and forests provides great field experiences and hands-on
learning. You may even consider becoming a "certified ecologist."
