Non Credit Programs
Learning Opportunities for All Ages
- Lifelong Learning Program
- This program offers Senior Citizens, 55 years of age or older, an opportunity to register as an "auditing student" in selected undergraduate courses.
- Music for Tots
- A ten-week program hosted every fall, spring and summer for children ages 3 - 5 designed to help improve not only the tonal, listening, coordination and rhythmic skills, but also verbal and socialization skills, ability to follow directions, focus attention and share with peers.
- Lovenotes
- A five-week course, offered at Silver Lake College and developed by internationally recognized music educator, Dr. Lorna Zemke, aimed at teaching pregnant couples how to use music as a bonding language with their unborn child.
- Summer Youth Programs
- Silver Lake College offers a week-long series of classes for youth grades 1-9 during the month of July called the Youth Enrichment Summer (YES) program.
