Young Democrats and Republicans

The aim of the Young Democrats and Republicans organization is to increase voter turnout for the upcoming election by informing students and personnel about issues facing the candidates and increasing political awareness on campus.  Officers include Tyler Schneider and Paul Benson, Co-Presidents; Andy Brice, Treasurer.  Members must be of voting age and have a dedication to the United States voting system.  For more information contact Pat Gagnon at 920-686-6135 or pgagnon@silver.sl.edu.

Choose Life

The aim of the Choose Life organization is to support the unborn by praying at Planned Parenthood establishments, attending Pro-life movies and demonstrations and more.  Officers include Amanda Roeh, President; Ashly Langnes, Co-President; Michelle Zentner, Secretary; Sarah Komorovsky, Vice-President; Dana Dolezal and Brittney Teasley, both Treasurers.

Mattermind

Mattermind provides interaction and service opportunities for English majors, minors, and anyone else interested in language and literature.  The Club sponsors a number of social events and service projects.  For more information contact Albert Sears at 920-686-6139 or asears@silver.sl.edu.

Art Club

Art Club provides for exchange of ideas and promotion of the visibility of the arts in the Silver Lake College Community, exposes members to art in the vicinity through bus trips to art museums in Chicago and Milwaukee, and plans fund raising events for art scholarships or for improvements in the Art Department which will benefit all art students. Activities include monthly meetings, field trips to various local museums, fundraising when needed, mini-workshops on media, and member exhibits. Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry serves the college by nurturing the faith community at Silver lake College. The Campus Ministry program provides opportunities for liturgy and prayer, reflective discussions and retreats, community service/outreach, leadership development and pastoral counseling. The Campus Ministry Center, located on the main floor, provides a welcoming atmosphere in which students, faculty, staff and administration can relax, share, and utilize the center's resources.  For more information contact Sr. Lynne Jagemann at 920-686-6163.

Student Alumni Association

The Student Alumni Association prepares current students for active alumni status by providing opportunities for service tot he college and opportunities for interaction with the Alumni Association of Silver Lake College.
This association is open to all students, and club activities include social gatherings, special events, and fund raising efforts for specific purposes in support of the college, both independently and in cooperation with the Alumni Association. Members assist with activities such as Homecoming, the Pancake Breakfast, Graduation, and fish boils.  For more information contact Cindy St. John at 920-686-6350.
