Provide a Student Housing Facility
Goal: $5 million (COMPLETED)
Bringing students to live on campus is a necessary step into the future. Today, on-campus housing is a critical component to a well-rounded college education. Learning must take place both inside and outside of the classroom. An active and vibrant campus offers learning experiences that can come from co-curricular activities and chance interactions with fellow students, faculty, and staff members. Such immersion serves to reinforce curricular initiatives and create the culture of a community of learners imbedded in a Franciscan environment.
We are providing on-campus living quarters for students in Clare Hall, a previous residence of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. This 49,000 square foot, four-story wing of the main campus building has become a modern, attractive, 180-bed residence hall for our students.
