Silver Lake College of the Holy Family is pleased to announce that Philip Budervic will join our Athletic Department as Head Men’s Basketball Coach. In addition to coaching, Phil will continue in his current role as Coordinator of Athlete Recruiting and Admissions Counselor.

Phil was born and raised in Canton, Ohio and is a graduate of Lincoln High School and Malone University. Phil has coached at the high school and college level in Ohio and Florida, most recently at Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida. He lives with his wife, Sheila and son, John, who is an assistant coach on the varsity staff and graduate student at Silver Lake College. Their daughter, Sara, resides in Jacksonville, Florida where she is attending Florida State College of Jacksonville.

Phil is very optimistic about the upcoming season. “We have a solid nucleus returning from last year’s team and recruiting seems to be progressing well. The schedule is extremely tough, but I am looking forward to the challenge and many years of success at Silver Lake.”
