Church Music Certificate

Persons with or without a degree in music who need guidance in the specialized profession of church music will benefit from this 20-credit certificate program. It addresses the needs of organists, cantors, guitarists, choir directors, and members of the liturgy commission. Courses in liturgy and/or Theology may be substituted for music courses already completed through a degree.

Certificate in Piano Pedagogy

Provides specialized training for a career in piano teaching. Students gain practical experience through observing master piano teachers and through teaching piano to children of various ages under the mentorship of a master piano teacher.  To qualify for the program, students must have completed a minimum of two semesters of college-level music theory and history courses or have successfully completed a diagnostic exam. Transfer credits are accepted for music theory and history only.
