Silver Lake College Presents Amanda Dumovich Senior Music Recital (Alto Saxophone) Sunday May 26, 3 pm

Silver Lake College of the Holy Family is delighted to host the Senior Music Recital for Miss Amanda Dumovich on Sunday, May 26, at 3:00 pm in the College Chapel, 2406 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc. The concert is an instrumental performance (alto saxophone with accompaniment), and is open to the public at no charge.

Silver Lake College Graduate Honors Those Who Supported Her by Giving Back To Community

Newly minted Silver Lake College Alumna Amanda Thuss delivered the Response of the Graduates at the College’s 75th Commencement on Saturday, May 4th at the Holiday Inn Manitowoc. She had been planning a graduation party for that evening, but after hearing about a local college student who is homeless, she was inspired to turn the party into much more than a commencement celebration.

Silver Lake College Honors Spring 2013 Candidates for Graduation

Silver Lake College of the Holy Family honored 123 Candidates for Graduation at its 75th Commencement Ceremony on May 4, 2013 at the Holiday Inn Manitowoc. 68 bachelor’s degrees and 55 master’s degrees were conferred. Candidates are listed below in alphabetical order by last name with degree, major(s) of study, and hometown. Graduation honors are listed in italics, and are conferred on students who have attained the following grade point average for courses taken at Silver Lake College: Summa Cum Laude – 3.9 GPA, Magna Cum Laude – 3.7 GPA, Cum Laude – 3.5 GPA on a 4 point scale. To be eligible, students must have earned at least 51 credits at Silver Lake College.

Silver Lake College Honors Graduates At 75th Commencement May 4

Silver Lake College of the Holy Family will honor 124 graduates on Saturday, May 4 at its 75th Commencement Ceremony. The celebration will begin at 9:00 am with the Baccalaureate Liturgy in the Silver Lake College Chapel (second floor, main building), 2406 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc, with The Most Reverend David L. Ricken, Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay, presiding. A light brunch for graduates, family, friends, faculty and staff will follow in the College dining room. The Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Holiday Inn Manitowoc, 4601 Calumet Avenue, and will begin at 12:30 pm. The commencement address will be delivered by The Most Revered Robert F. Morneau, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay. The Response of the Graduates will be delivered by Ms. Amanda Thuss of Manitowoc, who is graduating Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.
