Silver Lake College and St. Francis Of Assisi Parish Present The 2013-2014 Father Bill Zimmer Forum Beginning Sept. 10
Silver Lake College of the Holy Family and St. Francis of Assisi Parish are delighted to present the 2013-2014 Father Bill Zimmer Forum, a “book group for people of faith.” Book discussions are open to the public without charge and will be held in the Heritage Room (room 238, formerly the Grand Lounge) on the second floor of the main building of Silver Lake College, 2406 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc, on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:15 pm. There is no January Forum. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch, or food is available for purchase in the College dining room beginning at 11:30 am.
The series will begin September 10th with Sister Pam Biehl, Parish Director for St. Mary’s Parish in Omro and in Winneconne. She will lead a discussion on The Last Suppers by Diane Mott Davidson, which tells the story of a caterer whose wedding is interrupted by the disappearance of her homicide detective fiancé and the murder of the Episcopal priest that was to marry them. This crime mystery is interwoven with gourmet recipes and criticism of organized religion.
