Posted on February 21 2014

Steve March-Tormé, son of the legendary Mel Tormé, will perform a concert — titled “Snap, Sizzle, Pop!” — on March 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the new Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance, located on the campus of Silver Lake College of the Holy Family, 2406 S. Alverno Road.

The show features finger-snapping jazz standards, original songs and enduring pop tunes by March-Tormé, who lives in Appleton. He’s backed by a talented band.

In addition to his live shows, March-Tormé hosts a drive time radio show from 3 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays on 91.1 The Avenue in northeast Wisconsin, along with his own two-hour show on the Music of Your Life radio network on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon. In addition, his music can be heard on www.hotmix106.com.

For tickets, visit the Capitol Civic Centre box office at www.cccshows.org or call (920) 683-2184.

The show, which is presented by Kaeden Services and Etched in Stone, benefits Silver Lake College, Holy Family Memorial and Roncalli High School.
